i am going to keep this short, sweet and to the point. these little things are really cool and definitely do their job. the instructions are simple and easy to follow. i had to put both in a bit tight to hold a bun with my thin, fine hair but they lasted all day and through a work out! the double helix looking design is interesting and effective. simply created your bun and twist the spin pins into your bun. all you need to do is make sure you do not interlock the pins or it could be a bit of a mess:)

you probably guessed it. another great product courtesy of influenster! i love the not your mother's line as a whole but i have to admit when I first received this product and tried it out i HATED it :( it did everything to my hair I hate.. gave it zero volume, left it limp and left it hard. turns out less is more with this product and after i realized this i'm in love! if you just comb through it through your hair at any point in your curling routine-i've tried them all (remember just a little bit) your curl holds and frizz is at bay. i do think this can work well for girls with natural curl but mine just doesn't have enough:( for you lucky ladies just scrunch a little dollop of product through wet/damp hair &let those curls loose!

Kiss Ever PRO Lash Starter Kit

step aside ardell, you may have been replaced. these lashes are great. the glue... even better. decent lashes are a dime a dozen although these lashes are pretty great, but good lash glue is hard to come by. not only do these lashes look great on, are great quality and are super easy to apply the glue that comes in the kit is AMAZING. it has an application want that makes glue application super easy and the glue holds forever. i have officially found my new favorite lashes kits and its all thanks to influenster!!

p.s. the lashes are made of 100% human hair &the glue is latex free and waterproof :)

once again, hats off to influenster and thank you again for sending me something great. not only is this product great for the price, it is highly comparable to other high end (and a lot more expensive) products i have. the most effective way that i can run through this product is by using a pros and cons chart so here we goooo :)

pros!!!
-color pay off is very nice
-texture of shadows is smooth as butta'
-the shadows stay vibrant on lid
-primer is surprisingly nice
-illuminator is gorgeous

cons :(
-I do not prefer palettes with creme products in same package
-I wish the black was darker
-although i do like the primer, shadows still crease after a few hours. to help this apply a powder on lids before applying primer!

always remember to tap brushes to avoid fall out &blend your little hearts out!!

at the price point of around 5 bucks you can't go wrong! i plan to check out more of their products! check them out!

Beauty Blogger VoxBox. Bath &Body Works Fall Mini Candle.

these amazing smelly goods can be summed up with a 4 little word.. ¬ the kind you would usually think... L-O-V-E. i, the self proclaimed candle whore, am in love (yes i said it again) with them. i have a rather large &probably unnecessary collection of them so when i received a mini in Cider Lane I was absolutely elated. i had wanted to try this particular scent out but sadly had recently sold out in my local B&BW. so Influenster is not only an amazing, heaven sent company for sending me my now 2nd box, they are mind readers. i am not in front of my products in my box but cider lane is described more or less as apple cider, caramel and cinnamon. I am the kind of person whom positively HATES really sweet scents. if it smells like vanilla or some sort of dessert (except apple pie-weird.) it repulses me. so when i first smelled the candle i was let down, initially all you can smell is carmel but as you let it burn notes of apple just radiate through the room and smells AMAZING. there ya go again b&bw &in this case slatkin &co, you never cease to amaze me. influenster, don't worry you're in this too. you brought this wonderful treat of a candle to a very happy and appreciative owner.

day in the life.

as promised, here's another post. Since I am temporarily in a hotel it is pretty difficult to do extensive posts like reviews, tutorials etc. for now I guess posts like these will have to do, at least y'all can get to know me better :) I'm sorry if the layout is a not ideal but mobile blogger isn't the most user friendly. anywhoooo, hotel life kinda sucks. I'm one of those people who love staying in a nice hotel for a short stay. I always pretend I'm some glamorous socialite named Genevieve or something, put on my nicest clothes and jewelry &walk around with my head held high. In the hotel that we are currently staying at I would look just plain ridiculous doing that. It's not like like this hotel has bedbugs and crack heads but its not the Ritz. Whatever it's life at least I have time to practice my makeup skills and paint my nails 48 times a day, jk... But seriously lol ;) here is my most recent look! Hello lovies!

It has been far too long &i feel like a negligent mother. Please don't send my blog to foster care! I'm here now with some updates! A lot of things have been happening in my life. A chain of unfortunate incidences has led to some very impacting life changes and I think it's all for the good! I am officially going to makeup artistry school and beginning a free lance business! How exciting right!? Living the dream :) I have also taken an interest in a few other things like sewing and candle making :) with all these good changes come a few bad-yet still not horrible. Steven &i are moving in with my parents in a tiny town in Nebraska.. Yay lol :) it shouldn't be too bad though. I'm only 20- so that's acceptable right!? I promise blogs are coming soon :) beauty and non. So continue my journey with me! I promise I won't neglect my lovely readers again:)
